November, for us at Podere di Marfisa, is a month with a different rhythm.
The vine rows change colour, the air becomes clearer and quieter, and everything slows down a little.
It’s the moment when we can dedicate ourselves even more to those who come to visit us: more intimate experiences, warm dishes, wines worth talking about and landscapes to observe at leisure.
In this article we explain what you can do here in November, how our autumn experiences work, and why this time of year, even though it’s off-season, is one of the most beautiful for discovering the Tuscia.

Tastings: choose the one that suits you best
If you want to get to know our Terre di Marfisa wines, you have two options: the Tasting and the Tasting Experience.
Here’s how they work.
Tasting (without a visit)
It’s the simple option, designed for those who want to taste our wines without joining the vineyard and cellar tour. You have three options:
Basic – €20
✔ 3 glasses
✔ Bread and oil
Intermediate – €30
✔ 3 glasses
✔ Small tastings
Full – €40
✔ 4 glasses
✔ Richer board
You can also come just for this, by booking.
If you’ve been here before, you know that every glass tells a story.
If it’s your first time, we’ll help you experience it at your own pace.

Tasting Experience: a complete experience
The Tasting Experience includes a visit to the vineyard, the cellar and a guided tasting with 4 glasses.
We offer it on Wednesdays and Saturdays:
-
Morning: 10:00 – 12:00
-
Afternoon: 17:00 – 19:00 (summer hours only)
For those coming just for the tasting, the price is €50 with the Full option (4 glasses).
Guests staying with us can add the Basic and Intermediate options with a €10 supplement.

What to do nearby in November
We’re in Farnese, in the province of Viterbo, in the heart of the Tuscia.
From here you can reach:
-
Vulci Park, with its Etruscan remains and the small Pellicone lake
-
Lake Bolsena, perfect for a walk along the shore
-
the tuff-stone villages: Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano
-
the Selva del Lamone, ideal for an autumn hike
At this time of year you’ll find local festivals, markets, new-harvest olive oil, wine and local produce.
Why we recommend visiting in November
-
because there’s real silence
-
because the colours of the landscape change every day
-
because our pace gets closer to yours
-
because it’s one of the most beautiful months to experience the Tuscia authentically
If you’d like to discover it, we’re waiting for you.
